The Music Committee is currently working on the performer lineup for this year's Street Festival.
We'll list the roster of performers here when it becomes available.
Free Performances: The Rosendale Street Festival is a non-for-profit effort.
Any funds received above our operating costs go to other local not-for-profit groups.
All of the performers appear at no cost to the festival.
Out-of-town Artists: The festival gives priority to local performers, although it is not unusual for performers who live outside the area to also perform. There are multiple stages and
many performance slots to fill. Non-local, past performers have included Dar Williams, Marshall Crenshaw, Graham Parker, and a host of other well known musicians.
These performers were generally brought to us by local radio stations who offer a large amount of support to the festival.
If you are still interested in performing given these parameters, please submit your inquiry and you will be contacted by
the festival music committee as festival time grows near.
Thank you for understanding and if you chose, submitting your name/group for performance.
This is a free festival, run by volunteers, and as many services as possible are obtained without charge.
Minimum Information we Request from Performers
A paragraph description of the performer, including genre, influences, and bio information.
A paragraph about your relationship to Rosendale or the Hudson Valley.
A link to your web site.
A link to one or two representative internet audio samples of your work. You can upload your samples to any of the
many web sites that can host MP3s, like PureVolume or MySpace. We no longer provide a way to upload sound and video files to our site.
Contact information; at least name, email and phone.
Please only upload a photo or other promotional material if it doesn't already exist at a web site.
Consider updating your web site if those files aren't already there. If you are serious about promoting yourself,
you need to make it easy for the media and performance venues to access your materials.
Please provide us with information about performing via our online forms, rather then sending us an email with the information.
Emails do not always contain all the information we require,
and are difficult to track and organize. Submitting information via our forms puts them into a database,
so that when our volunteers are available, they will be able to easily review your information.
Please do not send attachments to our email addresses. Instead, use the file upload features of this site (for photos, documents, and other small files). If you have sound or video files, please have them available elsewhere on the web and just send us a link.
