The Street Festival will be taking place along Main Street, the section of Route 213 that extends West of Route 32 and through the heart of town. During the Festival on Saturday and Sunday, only foot traffic is allowed. At night, the street is reopened for vehicle traffic.

Admission is free, although we are asking for donations to offset our costs. This is a rain or shine event. No glass containers or weapons. No pets or animals. Bicycles and skateboards must be walked.

Festival Times - On both days, Main St. becomes closed to traffic at 11:00am, the shuttle buses start operating at 11:30am, and music begins at noon. The last shuttle bus runs will be at 10:00pm on Saturday, and 6:00pm Sunday, just as the last bands end.

Parking - Parking is free. The established parking areas will be at the Rosendale Elementary and Brookside Schools on Lucas Turnpike, the Iron Mountain kiln lot (to the left of their main entrance), the Bloomington Firehouse, and the Tillson School on Grist Mill Rd. There will be regular shuttle buses from each of these lots. There will be limited Wheelchair / disabled persons' parking handicapped parking at both ends of Main Street. There is also a parking lot about 1000 feet down Creek Locks Road, easy walking distance to the festival. Please note that parking on James Street will be for Main and James St residents, permit-only!

Shuttle Buses - UCAT will be running two loops, with buses picking up and dropping off passengers anyplace along the routes. Loops will run as frequently as possible. We hope this will be one run every 30 minutes, but it may be more depending upon traffic.

Western Loop serves parking lots at the Brookside School on Tanhouse Brook Rd and the Rosendale Elementary School at 1915 Lucas Avenue Extension, proceeds east on Cottekill Road, taking Sawdust Ave to Binnewater Road, to the kiln parking lot at Iron Mountain, then back to 213 to discharge passengers at the western end of Main Street. The return trip is the reverse of the above.

Eastern Loop originates at the Bloomington Firehouse parking lot, takes Route 32 South to the eastern Festival entrance at Stewart's, then continues onto 32 South to Gristmill Rd and the Tillson School parking lot, back north on Rt 32 to Stewart's in Rosendale, and back to the Bloomington Firehouse.

Some Important Parking Considerations

The Rosendale Street Festival asks the cooperation of the public regarding Festival parking. We urge people to carpool, and to park at the designated parking lots.

Parking on James Street will be by permit only.

Any vehicles parked illegally and/or unsafely on Routes 32 and 213, on James Street without a permit, or on other town or county roads in a fashion that obstructs a driving lane, will very likely be towed. The Festival has gone to great lengths and obtained major cooperation from many organizations, in order to offer viable options to the public. We hope they will be utilized.
